This post was so vivid, funny and moving! <br><br>It is unfortunately true that you cannot get out of the pain of mourning no matter how hard you try. It is a path that goes one way with no detours. I have welcomed tears so many times and that has been a kind of balm. Tears with others who are mourning comforts and helps me along that one way path. <br><br>Even though 20th Century Fox was taking your souls through the cheese grater, God seemed to have planned that you watch this film. What a perfect movie to watch just the two of you to process the loss. I would watch Shawdowlands over and over as I so related to the movie after I lost my Dad. It was strange to be drawn to something that would make me cry so much, yet healing all the same. <br><br>May the Lord continue to bring comfort to you and Mary Ann! Love you friend!
